Thursday 23rd Nov: Trainee & New Fellow Day Friday 24th & Saturday 25th Nov: ANZSPM Medical and Surgical Update Meeting Gathering on the lands of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Aboriginal people of the Kulin Nation, in Melbourne, Victoria, the organising committee and ANZSPM Council welcomes you to the 8th ANZSPM Medical and Surgical Update. This is an important intensive meeting for medical clinicians, training doctors and advanced practice nurses who work in Palliative Care across Australia and New Zealand. Focusing on emerging, changing or challenging areas of practice, that impacts on specialist palliative care delivery remains our aim and we hope our Update meeting will reflect these ambitions. The 10th Biennial Australia and New Zealand Falls Prevention Conference

The 10th Biennial Australia and New Zealand Falls Prevention Conference (ANZFP) will for the first time be run as a joint conference with the World Congress on Falls and Postural Stability at the Perth Convention Centre. ANZFP is an initiative of Australia and New Zealand Falls Prevention Society (ANZFPS). The 1st World Congress on Falls and Postural Stability was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in December 2019-joint initiative of the Malaysian Society of Geriatric Medicine and the British Geriatrics Society.

ANZSPM 2024 Biennial Conference

We’re excited to announce that we have officially released the Save the Date for the 30th-anniversary of our Biennial Conference; 30 Years of Palliative Medicine: Constructing, Challenging, Transforming. The Australian and New Zealand Society of Palliative Medicine 2024 conference will be held in leafy Adelaide. The conference will be four days with international and national plenary speakers, workshops, invited and offered papers and posters, a trainee day, and satellite sessions, all surrounded with fun, fellowship and learning.
