Edinburgh International Course on Medicine for the Older Adult

The Edinburgh International Course in Medicine for the Older Adult will be delivered in person in 2024, and there will be an excellent line up of speakers from the UK and worldwide to cover a variety of topics relevant to anyone involved in the care of older people. Although of particular value to doctors working in geriatric medicine at consultant or trainee level, many general practitioners, allied health professionals and specialist nurses may also find the course very relevant and worthwhile. The course is designed to update you on the theory and practice of geriatric medicine with many practical talks, as well as wide-ranging discussions on the holistic management of the older adult. Delegates will also be invited to participate in a social programme comprising of a welcome drinks reception, a medical-themed walking tour of Edinburgh, and a course dinner at a local restaurant (places limited.)
